Well I am finally home and recovered from my trip to AZ. It's Saturday now, and I have been home since Tuesday, so that gives you an idea of how tired I was. I had no idea how exhausting that trip would be or what I was getting myself into. My mom and I were on the go all week long. I spent two days just picking out the paint color for the house, taking samples home and trying them on the walls, then standing around like the indecisive pregnant lady that I am. Painting is such a scary decision, and any large or scary decision while pregnant becomes that much more intimidating. We finally settled with a beautiful palette of red, some browns, and blue for the bedroom. I basically left the house for two days so I wasn't there to see them working and change my mind halfway through. When the painter called me to say it was done and I opened the door to the house, I felt like I was on the Extreme Home Makeover Show. What a difference the paint made! It completely warmed up the whole entire home! I love it! Now we just need the furniture, most of it is ordered and on the way. It's all coming together so beautifully, I can't wait to see the end result! Take a look and let me know what you all think.

A Few Maternity Shots.....
While I was in AZ last week I got talked into stopping by Greg and Andrea's of Artisan Photography to take a few maternity photos. The ONLY reason Andrea was able to convince me to do them was because of the gorgeous photos they took of our wedding last June. I really haven't been feeling my most beautiful lately, but I got all gussied up and went over to snap a few photos. They posted some of them on their blog, I thought I would share the link with you all to check out. I actually really love them and am already glad I went. Thanks Andrea and Greg!

Happy Easter Everyone!
Not a lot has changed here in the last two weeks. No major announcements or new pictures to post, so this means you'll all just have to make due with a moment or two of my rambling.
Thank God I am feeling better today and yesterday. I suffered bad this week from a cold, which is NOT FUN while you are pregnant. I couldn't, or wouldn't, take anything for it so I pretty much just had to cope with all symptoms and suck it up. Major sinus pain and chest congestion. Achy body and head. Ugh. It was horrible! But not feeling well like that forced me to rely completely on my husband for some extra love and support. Once again, I was reminded of how lucky I am to be married to John. He totally stepped up and gave me all the TLC I could ask for and more. He was feeling just as bad as I was for a couple days and still managed to get out of bed and go to work. He is my hero for that alone. I soooo would have called in sick. Whatta man.
Well the anticipation is on the rise and I sometimes feel like I don't want to wait another minute for my baby. I feel her movemements more often and stronger everyday. I love that she almost has her own little schedule in there, that 2 am is playtime (we'll have to work on that, pronto) and she moves a little more when music is playing, especially at church. I sometimes find myself just sneaking into the closet, taking out all her little clothes, folding and refolding them. I cannot wait to hold her in them. Ten weeks left, and they couldn't go by fast enough.
Of course with all the beauty of pregnancy there have been some new symptoms that I definately could live without. How about Charlie Horses? Let's talk about those for a minute. I have had a couple that wake me out of my sleep. Not only are they so painful, but it's scary to feel that in your sleep and as you are waking up. Now that I know what's happening it's not as bad, but still not the nicest way to wake up. My heartburn is letting up a little, probably because I am eating a lot less. There simply isn't a lot of room in there to stuff full of food anymore. I am starting to find it more uncomfortable to sleep and even get around. Getting in and out of vehicles has become a daunting task. And with 10 weeks left to go, I have a feeling this could get a lot worse before it gets better. As hard as it can be somedays, I wouldn't trade a minute of it for the world. I know in the end when we hold our little girl for the first time, it will have been worth every ache and pain. I truly cannot wait!
Well I am leaving Tuesday morning to meet my mom in AZ for a week. I have a few things to do at the house, painters are coming and some furniture is going to be delivered. I am looking forward to some warm weather and sunshine, and since my "nesting" urges are so strong right now, I am more than happy for anything I can do around my house to prepare for the big move.
I promise when I have some new belly shots or pics of us I will post them. Thanks for checking back so often guys! Happy Easter Everyone!
