Well it's Sunday morning and John and I have officially been homeowners for almost 48 hours! Yes, on Friday we closed on our first home. We are beyond excited. It is beautiful and more than I ever could have imagined for my first home. I feel completely full and brimming with blessings at this point in my life. I am so thankful. John and I are so proud, and I am so proud of and thankful for him. I could go on and on.
This is the perfect home to start our family in and fill with kids. We have lots of space (2600 sq feet) 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. The backyard is huge. It is currently just sand, but lots of room for a pool and grass area...someday. It is brand new built in a great community with mamas pushing strollers and daddys playing ball in all the grassy areas. So many young families out here. We are SO EXCITED to feel like part of a community of people just like us, and look forward to all the friends to be met!
Moving to AZ has been in our heads and hearts for such a long time, as many of you already know. And as scary as it was to move forward with things, so unsure of what is to come, being in our new home and seeing what we have accomplished already is only an encouraging reminder of where we are heading. We have made an excellent choice, and to all of you who have had kind words and been cheering us on through this whole process, thank you so much. Your support has meant the world to us. Really.
So I will post the few pics of the house and my wonderful husband working on it that I took yesterday. There are none of me yet as I was the camerawoman all day. I took a couple self shots I will include and update my belly shots slideshow soon. I think it's behind a couple weeks. Enjoy!
